Grand Valley Youth Cycling (GVYC) is a nonprofit organization that delivers high quality afterschool and year-round mountain bike programming for 6th – 12th grade students in the community.
Initially founded in 2011 to support the needs of high school bike racing teams in the Colorado High School Cycling League, we have since expanded to better serve the youth of the Grand Valley through the addition of middle school and other skill-based mountain biking programs to meet a larger range of abilities and interests. GVYC mountain bike programs blend the physical and mental health benefits of mountain biking with access to outdoor physical activity, awareness of our public lands, trail stewardship and a healthy lifestyle.
KEEP GRAND VALLEY YOUTH CYCLING SUSTAINABLE!
Your support of Grand Valley Youth Cycling, no matter how large or small, will make a positive impact on the youth in our programs. Your efforts help us keep registration fees low, and fund scholarships to reduce barriers to participation.
WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT!
You can have confidence that your support will go directly toward our mission of developing an inclusive and active biking community for young riders of all ability levels in the Grand Valley of western Colorado.
USED GEAR
Do you have bikes, gear, clothing or other outdoor equipment just sitting around not being used anymore? If so, consider using it to support GVYC. While we can’t take donated gear directly, you can drop it off with our fantastic partners at The Gear Junction. Let them know that you’d like the sale of your used gear to benefit GVYC and we’ll get 100% of the sale amount.
Tax-Deductible Support
GVYC is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit and all charitable donations are tax-deductible. Donate any amount to support GVYC or direct your donation to the GVYC Scholarship Fund to help riders in our community participate in our programs.
